I’m getting an error message in my iTunes 7.2 which is running on Windows XP with SP2 installed.
Does anyone knows how to fix this problem? Please put in the comments or feel free to contact me.
I tried this following step and it worked like a charm!!
Try it out yourself….
I got this error after I installed FlyakiteMacosX. Just uninstall the iTunes MultiPlugin.
The screen shot is shown to its right.
Happy Blogging!

iTunes Error in iTunes 7.2
Whenever iTunes is opened, this error is displayed and shuts down the iTunes.
And, in the title bar “Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library”.
Run Time Error !
Program: C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application’s support team for more information.
Solution: To remove this error you either download a new version of the iTunes available on the website from Apple.com or you just uninstall the Apple Software Updater from the Control Panel. Both works fine.
And, I really dont know why this error has come up !! But it seems like this error means as soon as the iTunes is launched the iTunes checks the updates for its newer version available on the web. Since both uses the same Runtime Library this error would have caused.
Albeit, Macheists have done purposefully to get the new version. The solution given above is temporary workaround. However, to get the permanent solution you guys gotta wait!!
Till then take care and cheers!!
