If you wanna purchase any accessories to an Apple iPhone then you just have to click on this link: http://www.iphoneware.com. Rest assured we will take care what kind of accessories you want. I mean, you have to choose among helluva list of apparels to dress your Apple baby!!
iPAQ is really one of the intelligent PDA’s I’ve ever used whereas the Apple iPhone sports for the new multi-touch or flow touch interface wherein we can type the things without even stylus. Yes, it means just with the bare hands. If you have put on the gloves then you got to remove it to operate an Apple iPhone.
iPAQ has a hell lot of features but iPhone lacks in it. The loading of any application in an Apple iPhone is much more faster than in any iPAQ’s out there. However, there are not many applications installed in it.
Please note: I’m comparing an Apple iPhone with my HP iPAQ WM5; although WM6 does not have much features added in it.
1. Third party applications can not be installed which is a major turn-off. Ofcourse, you can break and make this device as a pirated.
2. With my iPAQ, I dont have to turn on its display to check out whether I’ve any missed calls or not. If I’ve any missed calls then the red light glows without even getting the display if it is kept unchecked for a long time thus saving the battery.
It even saves the time once we get acquainted with. For me, I started finding out as soon as I’d a hands on with because I’m a geekaliciously techie.
It even does the same if there are any messages out there. Ah! one more bad thing is that it takes a lot of time to boot. It glows the red light if the battery is running out as well.
3. I’ve n’t found out any such options with an Apple iPhone.
4. I can install almost any softwares with my Windows Mobile or iPAQ.
It is difficult to install and find the softwares which works with an Apple iPhone coz there are not many softwares out there yet and one more reason is Steve Jobs does not allow third party softwares on iPhone.
5. Apple iPhone is really friendly interface and get the things done faster but it lacks handwriting recognition because we cannot use stylus.
iPAQ has handwriting recognition. That’s really pretty thumbs up to my iPAQ.
6. Both of these phones comes under almost 135 g but iPAQ can play different formats. I installed Real Player which can play (.rm) format whereas in iPhone still long way to go baaaby!!
7. iPhone has integrated 8GB of memory which is really nice but we get only 7.25 GB because rest of the space will be utilised by MAC OS X. It has integrated iPod and Black berry features.
8. The emailing with iPhone is really fun as we go on typing with our bare hands faster. If we have a bluetooth attached with MAC book or mAC book Pro or PC (at last); then we can type the emails with our computer itself.
9. Emailing with iPAQ is also fun we can use stylus and PC if we have built-in bluetooth.
10. Synchronization with iPhone is pretty fast when compared with iPAQ and Active Sync (later replaced by Windows Mobile Device in Vista).
11. Active Sync will be keep on coming in the taskbar of iPAQ consuming battery. No such hassles in an iPhone.
12. When we talk about the talk-time iPHone will get thumbs up having 8 hours of talk-time whereas I get only 6 hours (max) talk-time in my iPAQ.
13. I can put maximum 2 GB SD cards in my iPAQ whereas iPHone got helluva storage of 8 GB (we get 7.25 GB).
14. The reason why iPhone is not having as many features because it is still a new baaby on the block. Still, theres a lot to go baaaby!!
15. iPAQ has come from the long time; yes, from HP. The devices are good from HP as well but now, its time to upgrade the hardware part, HP!!
16. iPhone is not having GPRS whereas some iPAQ has GSM, GPRS, HSDPA, EDGE.
iPhone is not having GPS (Global Positioning System) as well.
17. When we compare the screens obviously ten points go to iPhone coz it is scratch resistant whereas my iPAQ is not is very fragile.
18. My iPAQ has Radio, 2MP Camera; I can shoot both videos and photos at it. Although, the clarity of photos taken from an apple iPhone is much better than in my iPAQ.
19. Apple iPhone has got 2MP camera too but we cannot shoot videos which is a major bottle neck. Some say that after upgrading to the latest software updates they get an option to shoot videos as well. Time to try for me.!!
20. Obviously, the security part is concerned I give complete votes to iPhone because it is running MAC OS X. No details about whether it is embedded OS X or not. But the interface is really good.
21. iPAQ has got the built-in microphone whereas Apple iPhone lacks.
22. There are not much fonts put up on an Apple iPhone by default. But there are some four fonts displaying in my iPAQ (Not too much, although some what better than one font).
23. All Windows Mobile will be installed with Microsoft Reader and MS Pocket Office.
24. There is no voice commander in an iPhone. However, it has visual voicemails whereas iPAQ does not have such feature.
If you are gonna ask me up which phone would you use; then my answer would be always both. I’m avid techie and would love to embrace all the latest tech forever.
